Neither the storms of war nor the ravages caused by
calamities and pestilences can prevent us from continuing to have faith in the

Yea, it is for this very reason that God has endowed us with
the great gift of faith in the first place; to enable us to be able to
withstand all the trials and tribulations that this world can throw at us.
Hebrews:12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
If there were no trials and tribulations; faith wouldn't be
Romans:8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
To abandon faith during the times of great trial is like a
man jumping overboard from the safety of a ship in the midst of a raging storm
at sea because he became fearful and lost his confidence in the ship.
1Timothy:4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
The ship of our faith is Jesus and Jesus will never fail.
1Corinthians:13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether [there be] prophecies, they shall fail; whether [there be] tongues, they shall cease; whether [there be] knowledge, it shall vanish away.
Brethren, when the going gets rough walk even closer to
John:10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
:13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine.
Jesus is able to keep us from all harm.
Hebrews:7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
