Life is a journey

Life is a journey whose beginning and end is ordained by another and not ourselves.

We chose neither to be born nor to die.

Yet here we are on a journey whose beginning and end is not of our choosing.

The pathway of life is filled with many obstacles we did not desire or want.

The only choice we have is how we will face those difficulties.

With faith or with doubt; with courage or with fear; with love or with hate; with thanksgiving or with grumbling; with joy or with sadness.

By overcoming or by retreating, or by victory or defeat; by seeing life's challenges as blessings or curses.
