Neither the storms of war nor the ravages caused by calamities and pestilences can prevent us from continuing to have faith in the Lord.

Yea, it is for this very reason that God has endowed us with the great gift of faith in the first place; to enable us to be able to withstand all the trials and tribulations that this world can throw at us.

If there were no trials and tribulations; faith wouldn't be needed.

To abandon faith during the times of great trial is like a man jumping overboard from the safety of a ship in the midst of a raging storm at sea because he became fearful and lost his confidence in the ship.

The ship of our faith is Jesus and Jesus will never fail.

Brethren, when the going gets rough walk even closer to Jesus.

Jesus is able to keep us from all harm.
