A journey begins with a single step and without that first step the
journey will not take place; likewise, a lifetime of walking with God
requires that all important first step of faith to be taken.
Multitudes upon multitudes do stand on the threshold of the door of
salvation in a deep valley of indecision unwilling to make that all
important first step of faith.
Faith is the willingness to utterly abandon our own ways in favor of
God's ways.
Jesus said, whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but he who
loses his life for my sake shall save it.
By dying to ourselves, we become alive in Christ and if we live in
Christ (believe) we shall obtain everlasting life.
