The only hope of defeating the vicious circle of sin that exists in
all of our lives is to enlist the Spiritual help and supernatural power
of Jesus Christ.
Without Him we cannot overcome the stranglehold that sin has on each
and every one of our lives; for it is our very lives themselves, our
flesh, that causes us to sin.
Darkness is not expelled by darkness; nor is evil purged by evil;
nor is a lie overcome by another lie.
Darkness is removed by light; evil is purged by goodness and lie is
overcome by the truth.
John the Baptist said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the
sin of the world.
Brethren, we can at last be set free from the prison cells of our
sin by the liberating power of Jesus Christ, called grace.
