©11/07/2002 Jim Welch Scriptural references for: November 07 Verbatim references: None While yet we still live in the lowly state of
this earthly temple of clay there is no reason for any of us to be
lifted up with pride. The lowliest of the angels of God are far
greater than the greatest among the sons of men; yet all the angels of
Heaven, both small and great, fall flat on their faces upon the ground
when God, the Father, passes by. There are many men who are lifted up with
pride for things they have accomplished, the very things for which they
should have been ashamed. Brethren, let us not count ourselves worthy of
having received the mercy of God. Instead let us count ourselves as utterly
unworthy to have received His mercy and be thankful for
it. |
