©11/19/2002 Jim Welch Scriptural references for: November 19 Verbatim references: None The purpose of all religious activity, whether
attending church, reading the Bible or any other religious act, is to
help us draw nigh unto God and to walk with Him. If the religious acts you are doing is causing
you or others to draw closer to God, than the religious activity is
both constructive and beneficial. If the religious activities or acts in which
you are participating do not cause you or others to become closer to
God, then these religious activities are essentially destructive and
have become a hindrance to both you and others to ever finding God and
walking with Him. The greatest religious activity we can do is
to walk with God and love Him. |
