Set your affections on the things of God No matter what happens in your life, whether good or bad; do not allow it to interfere with your walk with God. For everything that happens in your life that is of earthly origin is temporal, a fleeting wisp of vapor which exists but for a moment, here today but gone tomorrow; but everything that is in your life that is of God and by God is eternal and will remain when all other things have passed away. Set your affections on the things of God and not the things of the earth; for the things of God are forever and things of the earth are already passing away before they have fully arrived. Amen.
