Let the Lord be your stay and your bastion of hope.
Walk with the Lord always and never leave His side.
Put your whole trust in the Lord and let Him hold your life and soul
in the hollow of His hand; where He will keep it safe from the wiles of
the Devil and man.
In Him we can safely trust and none other; for He alone can keep us
from harm and protect us from all alarm.
Like defenseless sheep we are; ever in danger of being attacked by
wolves and devoured and our lives laid waste.
The only safe place for us to be in the world's forest of peril
that is filled with predators is right next to the Shepherd of our
souls, Jesus Christ.
