Eternity is a very long time and our life on earth is brief; it
exists only for a moment.
We are here today and gone tomorrow.
The treasure you lay up for yourself on earth will be gone just as
quickly.
Brethren, where will you spend eternity?
How much treasure have you laid up for yourself there?
When Jesus comes and gathers His elect from the four winds, both
those who are living and those who are resurrected from their graves;
will you be included in that number?
Are you ready to meet our God and our Savior?
Will He say when He sees you, Well done, good and faithful servant
?
What you do on earth will pass but what you do for Jesus will
last.
Put your whole being into the service of the Lord and your treasure
will be great.
