That which comes from God will last; but that which comes from man
will pass.
Man is like grass and his glory is like the flower of grass.
The grass withered and the flower falleth away: but the inspired
word of the Lord endureth forever.
That which comes from God is in full; but that which comes from man
is in part.
The things of the Spirit will fill our lives to overflowing; but the
things of the flesh leave our lives with emptiness, lacking any ability
to feed our inner man.
Many they are who attempt to satisfy their inner man (soul) by
filling their outer life with an abundance of things and possessions;
they who do so are doomed to failure before they even begin.
Brethren, only the things of God can feed our souls.
