The focus of life is determined by what we place our emphasis upon;
the Kingdom of Heaven or our own personal earthly welfare.
If our emphasis is on God and His Kingdom our hearts will rest in
His Peace; but if our emphasis is placed on our own personal welfare
our hearts will be filled with turmoil and anxiety and our minds with
worry.
The world does not and never has had the ability to give peace to
the hearts of men; only God can bring peace to our hearts.
Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as
the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, or
be afraid.
He spoke these things to us that His joy may be in us, and that our
joy may be made full.
Let us than place our emphasis on God and not men.
