Be thankful onto God for all things and for all things give thanks
onto God.
In every joyful day there will be a little sadness and even in the
day of greatest sadness there will be a little ray of sunshine and
joy.
He who grumbles and complains will fail to give thanks even on the
most joyful day because of the wee bit of sadness; but he who has a
thankful and grateful heart even in the days of sadness will give
thanks because of the little ray of sunshine and joy.
Although optimism is not faith; it is akin to it.
Though pessimism is not the same thing as doubt; it is a close
cousin to it.
Rarely do optimistic people fail to give thanks; but pessimistic
people rarely ever do.
Let us then look for the good in everything and in everything give
thanks.
