The power of the written word is greater than the weapons of warfare
and exceeds by far the pronouncements of cruel men of power and
tyrants; because long after the weapons of warfare have turned into
rusting hulks and the tyrants have perished the power of the written
word will remain.
Men of great wisdom who have put their inspired thoughts on paper
are remembered long after powerful rulers, despots and tyrants have
totally been forgotten.
Yet in their day the men of wisdom were considered insignificant and
not very important.
Brethren, seek for the things that will endure and not for the
things that will quickly pass away.
The inspired word of God will last for all generations.
